What makes KWF better than bottled water?
First of all it is important to know that there are no FDA regulations on “bottled water”...NONE. So who knows the source or quality of the water you are drinking. With The KWF system, you and your family are ensured pure and safe drinking water that is free of chlorine, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, biological and chemical contaminants.
Does the KWF filtration systems kill bacteria in the water?
Yes they do as they contain KDF media, which not only removes chemicals, heavy metals and chlorine, but it also is a natural bacteriostatic, which will kill bacteria in the water.
Will the King Water Filtration System affect my water pressure?
You should not experience and decrease in water pressure as long as they system has been sized correctly. The KWF948 is suitable for water mainline installations up to 1.5” inches, the KWF1252 is capable of treating water mainline installations up to 2.25” inches.
What is “Soft” water and is safe to drink?
Soft water is water that has been run through a salt-based water softening system. It exchanges the mineral ions with sodium ions. Water softeners do not remove chemical contaminants in municipal drinking water and certainly are not suitable for safe drinking water for you and your loved ones.
Is the King Water Filtrations System a Water Softener?
No. The KWF is a “water conditioning system”. The KWF uses only organic filtration media to filter your drinking water. Not to mention we want to keep those healthy minerals in the water to give our drinking water a natural alkaline pH balance.
What is “Hard” water and is it safe to drink and bathe in?
Hard water often has high levels of calcium bicarbonate and magnesium. These minerals can clump together and cause buildup in your water heater and plumbing fixtures and pipes. These minerals are bad for your plumbing but good for you. There are ways to keep the minerals in your water and not have to worry about scale build up. The KWF system will solve this issue by giving healthy alkaline water that does not build up scale.
What is the difference between municipal water and well water?
Well water may contain higher levels of iron and sulphur. Municipal water contains chorine, chloramines, and volatile organic compounds.
Will the KWF system prevent hard water scale build up in my water heater and plumbing fixtures?
It most certainly will prevent scale up build and even will assist in breaking down existing scale built up in your water heater and faucets.
Will I need an under sink Reverse Osmosis system for drinking water?
Absolutely not. The King Water Filtration system provides organically purified water that will remove chlorine, lead, arsenic, and volatile organic compounds found in municipal drinking water across the country.
Does the KWF whole home water filtration system need any service, maintenance or salt/potassium?
No. The KWF whole home water filtration system is completely self-maintaining and maintenance free. It does not need anything to be added, cleaned or maintained.
